27/02/2010 Hotel de la Poste rules on Italy’s snow Team narrowly defeats Audi and claims Cortina Winter Polo Gold Cup.
Similarly to what happened in several matches of this edition of the Cortina Winter Polo Gold Cup, the event’s final was highly-thrilling match, and the event’s winner came away with only half-a-goal’s advantage over its rival at Cortina dÁmpezzo, in northern Italy.
Hotel de la Poste and Audi took to the field for the final, with the former-mentioned team only just managing to win the match by 6-5½, which led to its celebrating success in one of the most important snow polo events in the world, which had got under way on February 21st. The two teams had previously clashed during this event, when Audi had emerged victorious, 6½-4.
Prior to this final, Julius Bär Polo Team and US Polo Team battled it out for 3rd and 4th place, with the latter team winning the match 7½-3.
