The outstanding Lago Misurina district in Italy continues to play host to Cortina Winter Polo Gold Cup, which began on February 21st and will last until next Saturday.
Only one match was played on Thursday 25th, with the lowest score so far. Julius Bär Polo Team ever so narrowly defeated US Polo Team, by 3-2½. Julius Bär has so far played its four qualifying matches, with two wins and two defeats to its name.
Next Friday (26th), the day prior to the final, Hotel de la Poste Polo Team will face US Polo Team. If this latter team wins the match, Julius Bär Polo team could reach the final, by the mere goal-difference of one. In the day’s remaining match, Audi, already one of the event’s finalists, will face Ruinart, that has already lost all its chances of reaching the final.
